BSR: 10 Outstanding Highlights in 2025
The year 2025 marked a comprehensive breakthrough for Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR), reflected through 10 outstanding highlights demonstrating safe and efficient operation at record capacity, modern governance, solid financial strength, and growing regional aspirations. From the historic milestone of 100 million tons of products to advances in green production, digital transformation, international market expansion, and community engagement, these achievements reaffirm BSR’s pivotal role in national energy security and lay a strong foundation for sustainable development in the new phase.

Total output exceeded 7.9 million tons, the highest level since the Refinery commenced commercial operation, reaffirming BSR’s core role in safeguarding national energy security. The year 2025 also marked the historic milestone of 100 million tons of cumulative products since the Refinery entered commercial operation
In 2025, the Dung Quat Refinery officially reached 54 million safe man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI)—an outstanding achievement affirming that the safety culture has truly been embedded in every process, behavior, and decision of employees. This result reflects not only strict compliance with technical procedures, but also proactive risk identification, the application of information technology in inspection and maintenance, and the upgrading of online monitoring systems, forming a robust defense to protect people, assets, and the environment.

BSR successfully reduced the refinery’s internal energy consumption and loss ratio to 7.20%, the lowest level throughout its entire operational history. This breakthrough demonstrates the persistent efforts of functional departments, operating engineers, and technologists in controlling energy use, improving efficiency, and thoroughly addressing loss points
By successfully producing and testing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and E10 RON 95 biofuel, BSR has embarked on its clean energy transition and the development of environmentally friendly products. This achievement not only proves BSR’s capability to master new technologies, but also opens strategic directions for a high-value product ecosystem in the future, earning BSR a place in the Top 10 Vietnam Green ESG Enterprises 2025 – Industry and Energy category.

BSR’s international business revenue in 2025 reached VND 2,045 billion, up 37% compared to 2024. Export activities continued to grow steadily, while BSR expanded into the Laos market and conducted on-site surveys in Cambodia to prepare for future expansion strategies. These steps demonstrate BSR’s increasingly strong regional competitiveness
BSR completed the increase of its charter capital from VND 31,005 billion to VND 50,707 billion. This enhancement strengthens the company’s ability to mobilize resources for strategic investment projects, while also reinforcing competitiveness, ensuring financial safety, and improving proactiveness amid unpredictable energy market fluctuations.

BSR completed its Digital Office with 19 integrated modules, applying digital signatures and online workflows, achieving 100% digitalized management and administration coverage. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has also been introduced into management and operational governance.

In 2025, the company continued to implement numerous meaningful social welfare programs, ranging from education and healthcare support to infrastructure development and livelihood improvement across regions nationwide. Notably, BSR surpassed the milestone of VND 1,000 billion contributed to community initiatives.
