The Laboratory at Dung Quat Oil Refinery is one of the leading testing laboratories in Vietnam in the fields of oil, gas and petroleum of all kinds. This is also the laboratory with the most modern equipment in the Asia-Pacific region.

Regarding the staff, including 12 Masters, 18 Engineers and 40 analysts with more than 15 years of experience working at NMLD, trained domestically and internationally with OJT courses, Off-Job training, Plant training, Romania, Malaysia, France, USA, Japan, ... along with training courses on Knowledge of oil refinery operations, laboratories, Operation, calibration, maintenance of analytical equipment by Vendor, training on Integrated Systems ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18000, 14001, ISO 45001,  ISO 50001.

Regarding the testing equipment system, BSR has invested in modern, diverse types with more than 300 main and auxiliary equipment, which can analyze more than 240 testing methods for all properties of intermediate streams and products of NMLD. On average, BSR Laboratory analyzes more than 43 thousand samples annually, including gasoline samples, catalyst samples, water, gas, exhaust fumes, etc.

BSR Laboratory has been recognized by the Bureau of Accreditation (BoA) for 65 tests with Vilas number 456 in the field of application to crude oil and petroleum products such as LPG, gasoline, kerosene/Jet A-1, Diesel, FO, etc.

Currently, BSR Laboratory has granted Quality Certificates for RON92 Gasoline, RON95 Gasoline, Gasoline RON83, Jet A-1, Jet A-1K, KO, DO, DO L-62, PP, Sulfur, Mix C4, LCO, FRN, RFCC Naphtha.
