The year 2025 marked a comprehensive breakthrough for Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR), reflected through 10 outstanding highlights demonstrating safe and efficient operation at record capacity, modern governance, solid financial strength, and growing regional aspirations. From the historic milestone of 100 million tons of products to advances in green production, digital transformation, international market expansion, and community engagement, these achievements reaffirm BSR’s pivotal role in national energy security and lay a strong foundation for sustainable development in the new phase.

This is both a requirement and a task assigned by Comrade Le Manh Hung – Chairman of the Members’ Council of the Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam) – to Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR), with a focus on innovating the business model and striving for double-digit growth in the 2026 production and business year.

Despite successfully weathering the “storm” and reaching its targets ahead of schedule in 2025 with many notable achievements, forecasts indicate that even greater “storms” lie ahead for Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR). These challenges will require the Company to proactively implement key solutions in order to overcome difficulties and fulfill its tasks in the pivotal year of 2026.

In early November 2025, the National Accreditation Bureau (BoA) granted ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification to the Laboratory under the Quality Management Division (now the Safety and Quality Division) of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR), with accreditation code VILAS 456 valid through 2030. This international standard for testing and calibration laboratories affirms that BSR fully meets quality management requirements and ensures the reliability of its testing results.

On 15 November, Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) and the University of Technology and Education – the University of Danang (UTE) signed a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting scientific research, developing high-quality human resources, and fostering innovation to support sustainable development.

On November 7 in Hanoi, the leadership of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) held a working session to accelerate the Pilot BioDiesel Project, focusing on the completion of technology and pilot-scale production of biodiesel from agricultural and food processing by-products as well as microalgae oil.
