BSR Participates in APPEC 2025 in Singapore: Affirming the Position of a Leading Vietnamese Energy Enterprise

Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) recently took part in the 41st Asia Pacific Petroleum Conference (APPEC) in Singapore. Recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious annual energy forums, APPEC brings together international energy corporations, national oil companies, crude oil and feedstock traders, and leading global logistics enterprises.

The BSR delegation, led by President & CEO Nguyen Viet Thang, included representatives from the Trading Division, Production Management Division, and other specialists. During the week-long conference, BSR held a series of bilateral meetings with major partners such as ExxonMobil, Vitol, Shell, Socar, Chevron, Equinor, Repsol, PTT, Glencore, Trafigura, and Marquis Energy. Discussions focused on market trends, diversification of crude oil supply, feedstock trading, the development of sustainable biofuels, and opportunities for international cooperation.

Sharing his thoughts on the trip, BSR President & CEO Nguyen Viet Thang stated: “In the context of global oil market volatility, BSR recognizes the importance of continuously updating market trends, diversifying crude oil and feedstock sources, and expanding product portfolios to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Dung Quat Refinery. Participation in APPEC offers us valuable opportunities to broaden international cooperation in feedstock, biofuels, and new products in line with our sustainable growth strategy.”
